Perhaps the common theme in my diverse Biographical Vitae is a variety of communications skills combined with entrepreneurial risk.
It is a theme that has given my life's story the drama of both gain and loss. Between the two I have learned much more from loss.
Far more than modest gains, it is profound loss that has finely honed what I have to say, and how I say it.
As a communicator the most important lesson loss has taught is this: no matter how they're crafted, all my words are empty unless I listen first and listen hard. Meaning that before I write or speak, I do everything I can to understand what different people think. And sometimes then strike gold, discovering the treasure of another person's heart.

Designed and began implementation of 5-year campaign by ZAKA to recruit supporter-volunteers, especially from Gentiles who stand with Israel. ZAKA's humanitarian efforts extend to all people without discrimination. Also serve as an international liaison between ZAKA and various Christian communities.
The 5 year plan I designed, proposed and began to implement was approved by Yehuda Meshi Zahav, the founder and CEO of ZAKA.
My mutually agreed responsibilities on ZAKA's behalf included:
> Design, coordination and implementation of social network marketing tools
> Speaking engagements on behalf of ZAKA, including broadcast media
> Writing and editing various essays and promotional materials
> Recruitment and supervision of consultants to implement this campaign
> Also recruitment and oversight of English-speaking ZAKA personnel as spokespersons on ZAKA's behalf
> Maintenance of campaign focus among all consultants and volunteers, keeping all on-message in every venue

Zion Public Radio (ZPR) is a U.S. educational nonprofit. Its 501(c)(3) status was officially recognized by the IRS in its letter dated 26 December 2007.
My role is facilitating ZPR's purpose: to develop and acquire programming that listens to Israel: learning her perspectives, hearing her heart, and showing our support by faithfully reporting what she has to say. And thereby further educating the broad community of people in the West who stand with Israel.
UPDATE: ZPR's vision is likely to be transferred to a for-profit 24/7 Israeli network that plans to launch in late 2010. Its name: Israel World TV. More news to come.

Supervised legal collection procedures against creditors to a failed finance company (factoring). Achieved favorable judgments in every legal effort. Subsequent collection of funds from defendant-creditors was marginal.
- May 1998 - May 2000Primary Pediatric Caregiver / Pediatric Caregiving
Primary pediatric caregiver for one our sons, Taylor, during his 2-year battle with bone cancer, a battle that included amputation of his left hip and leg when he was 10 years old.
Wrote a book telling Taylor's story: WALKING TAYLOR HOME.
